Establishment and Promotion of a Grand Development Strategy
In order to adopt this expansion strategy, which is a common market expansion strategy in the anti-cancer drug industry, and to compose a development portfolio, it is of vital importance to proceed with multiple late-phase clinical developments even before gaining the benefits from launching leading products. In addition, CBS9106 is currently following pipeline and is awaiting IND application in the pre-clinical study stage, which indicates future capital needs. Furthermore, it is necessary to make efforts in the creation and acquisition of new development candidate compounds in order to realize sustainable R&D pipeline strategies in the future.
For the above capital needs we will procure part of the company's funding through issuing stocks. Furthermore, we will gather the necessary information and ensure that the required capital needs can be obtained while utilizing the increased popularity and trust that comes with listing stocks. We will also actively establish the system needed to support this expansion.
Listing of Stock and Promotion of IR/PR
In the past, Canbas has procured funds by allocating new shares to third party venture capital and business companies. In the future, however, Canbas will obtain necessary funding by listing stocks and at the same time utilize the increased popularity and trust that comes with listing stocks in order to secure an expeditious supply of funds. The company will also aim at stabilizing management and improving corporate value. In addition, we will expand IR activities by establishing and operating a corporate system to disclose information in the timely fashion that is required of a public company. PR activities for stakeholders will also be developed.
Reinforcement of the Internal Control System
After listing the company's stocks it became necessary to reinforce internal controls and to abide by the internal control reporting system outlined in the Financial Products Exchange Law.
In the future, the company plans to reinforce and expand the system to secure reliability of financial reporting through data linkage from the Department of Research and Development and the Department of Management.
